Mate parts, drop in ISO and ANSI screws with washers and nuts, then check for interference before anything gets cut.

Standard, section, detail and broken views. GD&T, hole tables, weld symbols and a title block with your logo. No license needed to view, and they can still be exported to PDF or DXF if desired.

Live strength checks on beams, shafts, plates and frames. Stress, deflection, buckling and fatigue update as you change the model.

Flanges, hems, jogs and flat patterns to DXF. Structural members along sketch lines, mitered at the corners, with a cut list you can copy straight to the saw.

Professional CAD costs a fortune, it's rented by the year, and it still gets in your way. This is my 'crusade' against that: good, affordable CAD you buy once and keep.
I'm an engineering student, not a software company. I built Crusade with Claude Code (Opus 5.5 and Fable 5.1). I have gotten so sick and tired of using garbage CAD software that costs $2,000+ a year, so I decided to stop whining and make my own. It started as something for just myself, but quickly became something I wanted to share. It's early, and it hasn't been tested as much as I'd like, so I'd appreciate letting me know if you run into any issues. SimpleSim is my attempt to make rough simulation values near instant. It has not been tested a ton yet, so (like always) double check and do physical testing to ensure your design is adequate. There currently is a lot of talk about decompiling software, this was NOT made using that. This was made from simply using Claude code to design what I wanted. If you choose to use this I hope you enjoy!
- Kyle ChandlerDuring the beta a license is $25; once 1.0 is released it's $75. The license is perpetual: it stays valid for every version after it, and you never pay the difference.
One-time, during the beta. A full perpetual license that covers every future version.
Buy for $25$75 when beta testing endsThe normal price once 1.0 is released. Still one-time, still yours to keep.
